Telluride We had a really fun show at the Llama in Telluride thanks to the party people who came out for the show. The Llama is a pretty damn cool place. try the duck burrito. in other news.. we're doing one more little show sans Jesse, this will be opening for the notorious WHURM at the Summit on Feb 19th. We're trying to get our hands on a certain guitarist who is gonna make it fun. Otherwise we're just gonna pick a banjo. Speaking of picking a banjo, i wrote a new song last night. Check it outwritten by: eric posted on: February 16, 2010 |

Whew It was pretty wild playing a show with 2 new members... for one we had Neal from the sweats on drums, then we had me playing guitar, that qualifies as a new member right? We had trouble locking in with short notice and the show wasn't your average aftergrass show to be sure, but we learned a lot, and we'll always do our best to make something happen under any circumstances. Thanks also to Aaron Lombardo who sat in on drums for a few songs. "Normal" Aftergrass returns at La Montoya in Telluride on Feb 12th. written by: eric posted on: February 03, 2010 |

Aftergrass Adapts So Jesse got an offer to work the x-games in aspen. no self respecting ski industry dork can pass up such an offer, so off he goes. we decided that we could get a sub guitarist and teach them our setlist, but that's a lot of work for a guitarist, so we figured let's get a sub drummer and i'll play guitar. aftergrass like you've never seen us, c'mon out for fun in the sun. written by: eric posted on: January 30, 2010 |

Gunnison, Crested Butte, and Keller! The Gunnison show was great, good people in that town and they like to get down. Thanks Alex for the place to stay :) Between Gunnison and CB we got some skiing in and took a band field trip to see one of our favorites, Keller Williams at the Belly Up in Aspen. (Thanks Mattices!) Rocked the beav then headed back to Crested Butte to open for Trampled By Turtles at the Eldo. We've always sorta caught a rough break when we've played in Crested Butte. Great people and lotsa fun, but just never generated a buzz, usually played on something like like a tuesday. Well, that's all fixed now, we played a packed eldo, then enjoyed the rest of the night, slept a bit (thanks CB) and skiied. We manage to have a lot of fun on the road, and do some great bonding things... Skiing together (ok bob snowboards) Bowling (oh hell yeah eljebowl), having drinks, having fun, then we get to play music too! damn i love playing in this band. written by: eric posted on: January 18, 2010 |

ski tour goodies Leadville and Salida were great, thanks to the lovely Bobbie in Leadville for the best tasting PBR there is (maybe it's the altitude?) and a great time. Thanks to Molly and all the folks at the Vic in Salida, we had a blast, and we really needed that second night in the hotel, you're rad. Skiing at Monarch was good good good, and we're ready for Gunnison tomorrow night. whooooo hoooooooo!written by: eric posted on: January 12, 2010 |

2010 the path goes ever onward, and shit on a shingle, it's fun. Our new years show was a blast, a packed house in sweaty silverton, 9000 feet above the sea. we stayed up late, we had lots of fun, we slipped and slid down icy roads. the night after new years we played the summit for what we thought was going to be a dead night. It wasn't it was really fun. We played with Diabolical Sound Platoon who has added live instrumentation to their act, it's fantastic. We all did a jam together at the end that was fun too! Up north this week to lead vegas, salida, and hopefully some epic skiing.

Happy Holidays Hey everyone, as another year draws to a close, we're stoked on everything that's happened in the past 365 days. We've had the best year so far, and look forward to yet another to come. Our winter shows start with New Years Eve in Silverton, CO followed by SECOND NEW YEAR at the Summit in Durango on the first. We take a little trip around the state for our ski tour. For today, enjoy your holidays and get ready for Aftergrass 2010.written by: eric posted on: December 25, 2009 |
