Aftergrass 2011
Hiya all, hopefully you've been checking our Facebook page for daily updates and all that jazz. We've been playing a few gigs here and there the most recent of which was the 4th of July in Telluride. We've got new songs and are in the midst of working on a new CD. Our bass player, Bob, is moving to Denver at some point (although he seems to be stickin around for now) so we're a bit up in the air over that, but we will forage ahead into the berries. August 26-28th is the Silverton Jamboree where we'll be playing with the Motet, A-Dub-Rock Band and many others. This is an awesome festival, don't miss it! I'm pursuing my solo "douchebag with a guitar & looper" project and you can catch me around Durango from time to time. Check my website to listen or download songs. Thanks for stickin with us over all these years, it's a fun ride aye?

2011
Great times in the last few days. Weds found us in Telluride jammin at the Buck to a rowdy crowd of pre-newyear maniacs. Getting out of Telluride was a little tricky and the entire state got a bit whammo'd with snow. We did manage to get over to Salida for New Years Eve where we played a fun show at the Vic. Following that, we just didn't quite feel like leaving the warm cuddly embrace of the vic, so we played again on Saturday. We kept it to a short and mellow set of rather obscure tunes we don't often play (because they're mellow? sure)

Happy New Year
We are really looking forward to 2011. We've got a new CD in the works. We're heading over to Telluride this evening followed by New Years Eve in Salida. On Jan 12th we bring the party to Gunnison, always a wonderful time. Check back for news.

Lack of entries...
So.. yeah... I've been sort of neglecting the front page of the website, preferring to do status updates on our facebook page. I need to link that in over here, or just stop being lazy, or forgo electronics all together and lead a pastoral existence chasing butterflies or.. Ok, enough with the ors... Let see, in the time since you've last heard from us, we've been mostly off, playing the odd show, New Years and onward we'll be doing a small tour again, followed by a new CD and a new side business cleaning rabbits and other small rodents.

A brief break
We just completed some great shows. July 3rd was 2 shows worth of grassy goodness at the Balcony Bar & Grill plus the Summit. Long night. July 4th was a very very very very very cold night complete with snow at the skinny cabin around 12,000 feet. On to this week, we played a great set at boomtown, a fundraiser for Durango's Burning Man Camp, that was good times, late nights, and fun fun fun. A really cool taper has been recording our shows and posting them to archive, so please make sure you keep up on them. Another podcast will be coming soon, so we go that going on. Other than that we're gonna enjoy summer until we pick things back up in September. For up to the minute updates and stuff like that, check our twitter or facebook pages!

Ridgeway
The Ridgeway River Festival was a great time, a smaller event than Fibark, but no less fun. We played with a stand in bass player who did a fantastic job, thanks to Mike Enriquez. Also got to meet the Denver based band James & The Devil who kicked ass. All in all a great trip, thanks to our intrepid soundman, Ryan Williams, the sound was fantastic.

Stinky Water!
We just had an awesome healing time at Pagosa Hot Springs. We played a 6-9pm gig, sure it wasn't *exactly* our demographic, but people had fun, we had fun and all went well. Following the show we all got to kick it in the hot springs till the weeee hours and are left feeling... rubbery.

News, Blues, Booze
We just returned from Salida where we played at the Victoria Tavern for both nights of the FIBARK Whitewater festival. Awesome time, great people, the Vic is truly a wonderful experience for any band, especially the semi haunted beer saturated ex brothel upstairs that serves as the band's residence. I'm fairly certain that this dbag with a guitar is going to go record an album there.

That being said, we play Pagosa Hot Springs tomorrow night (weds) and then on to the Ridgeway River Festival this weekend. A taper made a pretty sweet recording of our last show at the summit, you can download it HERE. Cheers for all the good times!
